About Boudha
Boudha grew up around Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world and a monument zone of the Kathmandu Valley World Heritage Site. The area is the heart of the valley's Tibetan community, ringed by monasteries, and the circuit around the stupa fills twice a day with people walking it clockwise. Staying here means waking to that, and a very different rhythm from central Kathmandu — quieter, slower, and about thirty minutes from Thamel by road.
